Barrie started his career as a chartered production engineer, moving into sales and marketing with companies such as NCR where he introduced new ways of education and communication for sales and management teams.
His communications skills eventually led to a stint as a performer but he was soon staging and managing productions in the UK, Europe, North America, the Far East, Australia and New Zealand.
In the early 80's he moved into the world of Television working for the BBC in Design and Programme Resource Planning and then as a Department Head.
He is co Founder of I.P.H. a well respected Media Management and Consultancy company, dealing with hundreds of startups and projects over the last 20 years.
Barrie is equally at home project managing as he is working alongside teams presenting, developing and communicating concepts.
He also delivers Corporate Training on many business subjects, as well as lecturing at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in Business and Enterprise.
He has considerable experience as a performer, project director, manager, trainer, designer and consultant.
Joseff Badman
The Gentleman Gypsy
Magician, snappy dresser and moustache enthusiast Joseff Badman combines sleight of hand, showmanship and off-beat comedy to enthral, charm and entertain guests through his one man show, at weddings, private parties and corporate events.
Most of the magic you’ll see Joseff perform would have been performed by society entertainers of the 1920s and 30s in the drawing rooms of the the rich and famous. HIs magic uses no magnets, wires or camera trickery. This is what can be achieved with nothing more than common, everyday objects, and a lot of spare time.
Joseff is a Welsh speaker, a member of Equity and an Associate of the Inner Magic Circle (with Silver Star). He’s pretty good!
Thom Chesser
The Magical Homie
Thom’s journey to Midweek Magic Mix started 40 years ago with a Paul Daniels magic kit for his 7th birthday. Many hours of patient practice and trips to the local toy shop later and Thom was ready for his big stage debut. The events of that terrible family Christmas Day still haunt him.
Years of therapy and another birthday present of magic lessons at the Illusioneer find him as a regular performer on our stage.
Thom likes to play games with the audience, you never know quite what’s going to happen. Come and join him on stage for his monthly Midweek Magic Mix therapy session.
Darren Delaney

With over 20 year’s performing experience, Darren Delaney is the ideal choice if you’re looking for a magician for your event. With his combination of incredible magic, mind reading and charming personality, he’s sure to be a hit with your guests.
When Darren isn’t entertaining corporate clients such as BarclayCard, PwC, Lloyd’s Banking Group and KPMG, he can be found performing at private parties at exclusive venues around London. He’s been fortunate enough to enthrall guests with his unique style of magic at Soho House, the Groucho Club, The Army & Navy Club, the RAF Club and 5 Hertford Street. In 2016 he was part of the official entertainment team at The Royal Variety Performance After Party at Grosvenor House.
He’s also won a bunch of awards along the way – The London Society of Magicians’ best Stage Magician in 2013 and again in 2017, Best Card Magician in 2017, and he was a finalist in the 2017 Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the Year competition.
SEPP
The Italian Job
Disguised as your everyday funny Italian guy, Sepp is an extremely versatile close-up, street and stage magician. He’s a member of the prestigious International Brotherhood of Magicians with 13 years of experience .
Known as much for his friendly and distinguished approach as for his skills, Sepp has presented his magic throughout the UK and internationally over the last decade. Experienced in sales and demonstration, front of house and theatre. Great experience with casino related duties developed as a croupier (Roulette, Black Jack, Poker, Dice, Baccarat).
Sepp is also an actor, a stuntman and a hand model/double with years of experience in the cinema industry.
